Your Party is now scheduled to hold their Central Executive Committee election. Nominations close on the 16th January.
These are exciting times and after February we should have a fully elected committee.
In Cambridgeshire we have held a second meeting to unify our members and we are now established as Your Party Cambridge and Cambridgeshire.
Our next meeting will be to look at candidates for the May elections. We recognise that this is late in the day but better late than never. If you have an interest in being a councillor, or helping with the election, please get in touch.
Vigil for the Hunger Strikers
Some of us were there outside the Guildhall, Cambridge to add to the voices calling for their release from remand.
They have not been found guilty, they are awaiting trial, they should not be allowed to die!
YP conference
Your Party Conference was an event of a lifetime. Jeremy retains enormous influence but Zarah is the rising star. The votes taken at the conference and online registered a grass roots influence that set out the template that Your Party will be built on.
YP conference turned into major success as the delegates wrested control from the bureaucrats, steering YP to the member’s agenda.
We are now designated as a working class, socialist party, with solid priorities for equality, fairness and peace.
Control is centred on branches, who will have budgets and should be looking to run candidates in May.
